Reason for entering :
TÜ'pÜrys seeks Vedrelium, a rare and valuable naturally-forming element.
He seeks to offer said element to the Interstellar Empire of Qumid, as a means of purchase in exchange for the release of enslaved individuals of his species, including itself.

Strengths:
- Natural acrobatic ability from generations of life in trees.
- Camouflage in green foliage.
- High stamina.
- Five dexterous limbs. Legs and tail are really arms as well, complete with hands.
- Bony plates that absorb shock, useful as armor, tools, or even weapons.
- Advanced hearing, thanks to frills on sides of head catching sound waves.
- Echolocation, made by clicking and other audible sounds.

Abilities:
No special abilities other than those of his kind. TÜ'pÜrys has lived among civilized Qumid for a time, somewhat increasing his intelligence and ability to walk on smoother surfaces. These changes are not very significant, however.

Weaknesses:
- Not physically strong, due to light frame and home moon's low gravity.
- Light, hollow bones that are easily broken when trauma misses plates.
- Near-sighted vision. Everything blurs after only a few meters.
- Sense of smell weaker than a human's.
- Awkward movement on flat surfaces.
- Unable to swim.
- Low intelligence, incapable of complex thought.
- Inability to handle stress. Enough stress can cause regression to animalistic behavior.

History:
TÜ'pÜrys was young when the Qumid Empire found his home moon. Never before had the Üg'yny'meïs encountered beings of another world. The Qumid were quick to exploit the peaceful Üg'yny'meïs, taking them back to their home planet to become domestic servants. TÜ'pÜrys was one of the taken, and spent the recent half his life in servitude.

The Qumid were fair masters. Individuals allowed their servants to purchase their freedom, so long as they legally accumulated funds equal to their worth. CVO472 heard about Xotiathon, with natural elements offered as a possible prize. He knew of Vedrelium, and its great worth the Qumid. He went to his master with his plan to enter, win, and purchase the release of his kind with the winnings.

This plan was brought to the Quimid government, who agreed to the chance of great gain at very low risk. They allowed CVO472 to compete in Xotiathon, under the supervision of an appointed Overseer. He is also allowed to compete under his given name, and dress in the native garb of his people.

- The flag of TÜ'pÜrys is of his own design, since his people have no flags or symbols of their own. It was commissioned by his owner for use in the Olympics.
- Should anything happen to his servant (permanent injury, escape, death, etc) during Xotiathon, his master is to be compensated for the loss.
